Christ the Good Shepherd
Symbolism in the Sculpture:
*A tear, weeping for humanity. *His ears are exposed to here the prayers of the people. *His hair is blowing in anticipation of the coming storm. *His hand is extended to receive all people. *His bare feet show humility. *The blue green of his robe implies he is of heaven and earth. *The stigmata represent the crucifixion. *The lamb represents that he watches over his flock. *There is a slight imprint in the texture of his robe representing his loving heart.
I hope you derive great pleasure and inspiration when you view "Christ the Good Shepherd."
